We understand that when things don't go right, it can be frustrating. If your student has a disconnection or another technical issue that prevents the completion of the test, rest assured that EMA will provide your student a free opportunity to retake the SSAT if they had launched the SSAT on time.

If you have an incomplete test after having launched it, you will receive an email the day after the test date with instructions on how to reschedule at no additional cost.

Important: If you had an internet connection issue, you should correct any problem that would have caused it or consider an alternate mode of testing, including taking the SSAT at a Prometric test center, taking a paper-based test, or ordering an equity kit for use with the SSAT at Home. Please note that you will not receive an email or opportunity to reschedule at no cost if EMA has no record of you logging into your account and clicking the Launch Test button within 15 minutes of your testing appointment.
